Inclusion U Training

• Are you a recreation or tourism provider interested in ensuring that your policies, programs, sites and facilities are accessible to all people?
• Are you interested in learning more about providing inclusive recreation services?
• Are you a person with a disability, family member or advocate interested in expanding inclusive recreation opportunities in your region?
• Would you like to become an inclusivity assessor helping to identify inclusive recreation experiences for people with disabilities?
• Would you like to earn CEU’s?

• Inclusion U is a one-day workshop that teaches you how to be an Inclusivity Assessor.

• In Inclusion U, you will learn the foundations of inclusion and how to use the Inclusivity Assessment Tool, in ten modules.

• Once you complete Inclusion U, you are able to complete accessibility surveys, using the Inclusivity Assessment Tool.

• You will be able to submit the results of your inclusivity assessments to the NYS IRRC to be included in an online recreation database.
